About the Flagship Opportunity Zone

The City of Erie, business, and non-profit leaders have coalesced around the common goal of promoting Erie's Opportunity Zones, designated as Pennsylvania's Flagship Opportunity Zone.

The Flagship Opportunity Zone Development Company was created under the umbrella of the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership to cultivate a robust portfolio, promote viable and socially impactful projects, and unlock local capital to transform Erie.

In addition, The Flagship will serve as a single point of entry for investors and assist by:

1. Quantifying deal flow and availability of local capital
2. Identifying projects, local investors, funds, and partner investment
3. Promoting the Zone, eligible projects, entrepreneurs, investors, and funds

The Flagship is dedicated to remaining transparent and accountable to the residents of Erie.  The organization will be guided by the Erie Neighborhood Growth Partnership, the Flagship Task Force, and an Advisory Committee made up of local civic, business, and community leaders.
